मध्यप्रदेश की आम जनता को होम्योपैथी पद्धति मे से सस्ता एवं लाभप्रद उपचार उपलब्ध कराने की दृष्टि से महाकौशल क्षेत्र के प्रसिद्द समाजसेवी एवं होम्योपैथ स्व. डॉ.गौरीशंकर विश्नोई ने जबलपुर नगर में अनुश्री सोसायटी के अंतर्गत एक होम्योपैथिक कॉलेज खोलने का संकल्प लिया । होम्योपैथी में छात्रों को प्रोत्साहित करने एवं आम जनता को चिकित्सा सेवाएं प्रदान करने की प्रेरणा से अनुश्री होम्योपैथिक मेडिकल कॉलेज का शुभारंभ सन् 2003 में किया गया ।सन् 2008 में महाविद्यालय का प्रथम बैच सफलतापूर्वक डॉक्टर बनकर जनसेवा में अग्रसर हुआ ।
